ABC PDS leadership workshop

The brief
ABC's Portfolio Delivery Service leadership team came together for a two-hour LEGO Serious Play session — building on an existing foundation of psychological safety to explore team identity, the ABC values in practice, and what courageous communication actually looks like day to day.

What we did
Across four stages, the team moved from personal reflection to shared commitment: what makes PDS distinctive, how each value shows up (or doesn't) under pressure, and what courage means for each leader personally. Individual builds fed into group models, ending with each table committing to how they'd support courage in their own teams.

What shifted
The most striking builds came in the final stage. Leaders spoke openly about impulse control, fear of visibility, and what it costs to stay quiet — real vulnerability in a room of senior peers. That honesty carried straight into their commitments: every table landed on some version of the same pledge — support people to speak up, and catch them if they fall.

Want your leadership team building trust instead of just talking about it? Let's start a conversation!

“Mei‑Ling brought energy, structure, and care to our LSP session. Her preparation, inclusive facilitation style, and excellent tools embedded our organisation’s values into the conversation and made it a truly engaging and impactful experience for the whole team. ”
